The weather’s turning unmistakably hotter by June in Austin, TX, but that doesn’t seem to put a damper on doing what we do best: listening to live music and dancing the night away!
Here are five things we here in the capital city of Texas do for fun in June:
- Get a Bite Out of Summer: Jaws on the Water June 7th and 21st, July 12th and 26th – This event is literally, on the water. Guests receive a complimentary innertube to enjoy the movie and cool off while they enjoy the movie. But be ready, during the show, divers might come by and give you a freight with a tug on your toe for that added thrill. You can catch a ride with Twisted Texas Tour here.

Insiders know that it’s best to get your RSVP in early, to enjoy special perks, such as early entrance into the venue for you and your posse, access to 2 cool lounges to watch the show with free popcorn and first-come-first-served seating.
- Celebrating Juneteenth – Stay Black and Live: Juneteenth Festival June 14th and Austin African American Book Festival, both at the George Washington Carver Museum June 29 – Austin is proud to celebrate the oldest known African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery, Juneteenth, with knowledge and style. The Carver Museum invites locals and visitors alike to join in as they commemorate Black history past, present and future. From dance parties and cookouts to interactive community gatherings and cultural celebrations, this event should be a blast!
- Punk Pop Anyone? – Pop Punk’s Not Dead Fest 2025 at Buck’s Backyard June 6th and 7th – If you don’t mind a little jaunt south of town to our little neighbor, Buda, TX then you’ll find a joyful patch of land called Buck’s Backyard. This large venue is just the place to rock out for two days of non-stop pop punk mayhem! They’ve got food trucks, merch booths, and vendors aplenty. They feature an Indoor stage, so you don’t overheat while you bug out to the golden eras and rising stars of pop punk and emo music.
- A Brew Bus Tour with Live Music Onboard – Twisted Texas Tour – The only brewery tour in town where we don’t just bring the party, we are the party! So put on your party pants and join this unforgettable concert on wheels. In a city known as the “Live Music Capital of the World”, it only makes sense to bring along some of the local talent. A LIVE BAND will ride along onboard, providing the jams for a good time as we visit three local breweries.
